Position summary (General Purpose):
Under management direction, provides hands on technical support to meet production requirements. Analyze specifications, lay-out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, and fit and assmeble parts to make and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machinists' hand tools.
Qualifications (Basic knowledge, skills & abilities)
High School diploma or equiv
Able to read, understand, and follow all ISO 14001 guidelines
2 years expeirence working as a Machinist
Primary Roles &
Responsibilities:
Mig & Tig welding
Troubleshoot & repair problems
Set-up and operate lathe, mill, saws, and surface grinders
Achieves goal set forth by company's business plan
Troubleshooting
Essential Job Requirements:
Troubleshooting exp
Mig & tig welding experience
Machining experience
Computer literacy
Physical demands and work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be subject to significant:
Standing
Walking
Pushing and/or lifting up to 50 lbs.
Repetitive motion
Twisting and bending
Possible exposure to high noise level(protection is provided)
This job is performed in an open manufacturing environment
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
