Lean Practioner
Responsibilities
Develop strategic company goals related to Lean manufacturing.
Plan, schedule and lead Lean activities/initiatives to accomplish strategic goals.
Direct and train employees in the fundamentals of Lean manufacturing using appropriate process improvement tools and methodologies including, but not limited to, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, 6S, and SMED.
Identify, target, and prioritize a series of strategic actions across the plant to support long term transformation, deep and wide.
Develop and deliver presentations to all levels of employees and management.
Coaches towards documented, standardized, best practices with success and maturity measured towards sustainment and raised benchmark improvements.
Support process improvements that link to the strategic operational directions of the business unit.
Recommend areas for investigation, modes of corrective action and initiate corrective actions and curator of problem solving and continuous improvement culture.
oAssign, direct and assist in the preparation of work station and work area layout for new, revised or proposed procedures and equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
BS in Engineering or related field experience in process improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft office applications, drawing software(s) (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ProE, etc.).
Excellent analytical, communications and interpersonal skills.
Six Sigma certification strongly desired.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
