The ideal candidate will enjoy driving and understand the importance of treating everyone with diplomacy.
The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct home visits to verify home addresses in Albertville City School.
Must be friendly and approachable, maintaining a professional appearance.
Duties expected of this position are:
Drive a personal vehicle during the regular school day for the purpose of traveling to assigned address sites for residence verification.
Verify residence for students wishing to enroll in the Albertville City School System if the family cannot provide valid proof of residence (utility bill, mortgage or lease document, rent receipt, or any governmental communication).
Conduct home visits for any student/family that does not have proper documentation and provide proof of residence to the enrollment office.
Participate in regularly scheduled home visits to any/all students as a routine procedure for all enrolled students.
Assist in contacting truant students and families through home visits.
Follow state and district policies and procedures related to enrollment and residency.
Analyze situations accurately and make effective decisions in procedural matters without immediate supervision.
Meet schedules and timelines.
Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
Work with computer applications, including word processing, database, spreadsheet, and communication software, to ensure effective communications and to make comprehensive reports.
Adhere to school system rules, administrative procedures, local board policy, and state and federal rules and regulations.
Qualifications Associate degree or Higher Valid Alabama driver's license Working knowledge of State enrollment rules and regulations Must be able to obtain a State of Alabama Background Check ($48.
